The Origins
In the early sixties of the last century, Gilda and Gaetano Torrente created a recreational club and bar in the convent, which they later transformed into a pizzeria and then into a trattoria. In the eighties, thanks to the vision of Pasquale Torrente, the restaurant “Al Convento di Cetara” became a culinary symbol of the Amalfi Coast in the world.
